By creating an account, accessing our website, purchasing a subscription, creating a tutor profile, or otherwise using our platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the platform.

1. About Your Tutor Here

Your Tutor Here is an online platform that helps parents and guardians discover and connect with tutors and tuition teachers for their children.

Tutors can create accounts, purchase subscription plans, create profiles, and list their tuition services on the platform.

Your Tutor Here acts as a platform that facilitates discovery and connection between parents, guardians, and tutors. We are not the direct provider, employer, or controller of tutoring services offered by individual tutors.

Tutors are responsible for the services they offer, the information they provide, and their conduct.

2. Who Can Create an Account

Accounts on Your Tutor Here may be created by:

• Tutors or tuition teachers who wish to offer their services
• Parents or legal guardians who are looking for tuition for their children

Students and minors are not encouraged to create independent accounts or arrange tuition on their own.

Parents and legal guardians should create and manage accounts when using the platform to find tuition for a child.

By creating a parent or guardian account, you confirm that you have the appropriate authority to act as the parent or legal guardian of the child for whom you are seeking tuition.

3. Account Information

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when creating and using your account.

You must not:

• Create an account using false information
• Impersonate another person
• Create an account for another person without appropriate authority
• Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, experience, or services
• Use another person’s account or login credentials

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

If you believe that your account has been accessed or used without your permission, please contact us.

4. Parent and Guardian Responsibilities

Parents and guardians are responsible for making informed decisions when selecting and engaging a tutor for their child.

Before engaging a tutor, parents and guardians should:

• Review the tutor’s profile carefully
• Consider qualifications and teaching experience
• Review ratings and reviews where available
• Independently verify important information where appropriate
• Discuss tuition arrangements before starting
• Confirm the location, timing, and method of tuition
• Take appropriate safety precautions
• Remain appropriately involved in their child’s tuition

Parents and guardians are responsible for deciding whether a particular tutor is suitable for their child.

5. Child Safety and Parental Involvement

The safety and well-being of children should always be a priority.

Parents and guardians should remain involved in tuition arrangements and take reasonable precautions when communicating with or engaging a tutor.

Parents and guardians should encourage their children to speak openly about anything that makes them uncomfortable, concerned, or unsafe.

Users must not use the platform for abuse, exploitation, harassment, inappropriate communication, or any unlawful activity involving children.

6. Tutor Responsibilities

Tutors are responsible for the information and services they provide through the platform.

Tutors agree to:

• Provide accurate profile information
• Provide truthful information about qualifications and experience
• Clearly describe the subjects and classes they teach
• Maintain professional conduct
• Treat parents, guardians, and children respectfully
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries
• Follow applicable laws and regulations
• Avoid misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive claims

Tutors must not use the platform for unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, sexually inappropriate, or otherwise prohibited activities.

7. Tutor Profiles and User-Provided Information

Information displayed on tutor profiles may be provided by the tutors themselves.

Tutor profiles may include information about qualifications, teaching experience, subjects, classes, availability, location, teaching methods, photographs, descriptions, reviews, and other details provided by the tutor.

Being listed on Your Tutor Here does not mean that the tutor’s identity, qualifications, experience, background, or other profile information has been independently verified by us.

Tutors are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide is accurate and that they have the right to provide any photographs, documents, or other content they upload.

Parents and guardians should independently evaluate important information before engaging a tutor.

8. Tutor Subscription Plans

Tutors may purchase paid subscription plans to access the applicable profile and listing features available on Your Tutor Here.

Plan pricing, duration, features, and applicable conditions are displayed on the relevant Plans & Pricing page at the time of purchase.

Purchasing a subscription does not by itself mean that a tutor has been verified.

Subscription fees are subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

9. Tutor Verification and Verification Badge

Tutor verification is separate from account creation and subscription.

Your Tutor Here does not automatically verify every tutor who creates an account or profile.

Tutors may create an account, purchase a subscription plan, add their teaching information, and use the platform without completing verification, unless verification is specifically required under our applicable policies.

Tutors who wish to receive a Verification Badge may be required to complete a separate verification process.

As part of that process, we may request a government-issued identity document or other information reasonably necessary to verify the tutor’s identity.

A Verification Badge indicates that the tutor has successfully completed the applicable identity verification process.

It does not guarantee the tutor’s teaching quality, qualifications, experience, background, conduct, or suitability for a particular child.

10. Tuition Arrangements

Your Tutor Here may help parents and guardians discover and connect with tutors. The actual tuition arrangement is between the parent or guardian and the tutor.

The parties are responsible for discussing and agreeing upon matters such as:

• Tuition fees
• Class timings
• Location
• Online or home tuition
• Number and frequency of sessions
• Teaching methods
• Cancellation or rescheduling arrangements
• Other terms of the tuition relationship

Your Tutor Here does not control the terms of private arrangements made between parents or guardians and tutors.

11. Home Tuition

Parents and guardians may choose home tuition where available.

Before allowing a tutor to visit their home or meet their child, parents and guardians should take appropriate precautions, including verifying relevant information and deciding whether the arrangement is suitable and safe.

Tutors are responsible for their conduct while providing tuition services.

Parents and guardians are responsible for deciding whether home tuition is appropriate for their child and for taking appropriate precautions.

12. Payments Between Parents/Guardians and Tutors

Tuition fees and other payment arrangements between a parent or guardian and a tutor are separate from subscription payments made to Your Tutor Here.

Parents and guardians and tutors are responsible for agreeing on tuition fees and payment arrangements between themselves.

Your Tutor Here does not control private payment arrangements between parents/guardians and tutors unless a particular payment service is expressly provided through the platform.

Users should exercise appropriate caution when making payments or sharing financial information.

13. Reviews and Ratings

Eligible users may be able to provide reviews or ratings based on their genuine experience with a tutor.

Reviews should be:

• Honest
• Relevant
• Based on genuine experience
• Respectful
• Free from abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or unlawful content

Users must not create fake reviews, manipulate ratings, threaten someone over a review, or offer misleading incentives for reviews.

Your Tutor Here may remove, restrict, or moderate content that violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.

14. Prohibited Activities

You must not use Your Tutor Here to:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Commit fraud or scams
• Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse another person
• Engage in discriminatory behaviour
• Exploit or endanger children
• Engage in sexually inappropriate conduct
• Request inappropriate photographs, videos, or personal information from a child
• Attempt to obtain passwords, OTPs, banking credentials, or other confidential information
• Create fake accounts or impersonate others
• Upload malicious files or links
• Misuse another user’s personal information
• Use the platform for unlawful activities
• Circumvent platform restrictions or security measures
• Interfere with or attempt to damage the website or platform

We may take appropriate action where we reasonably believe these Terms or our other policies have been violated.

15. Communication and Personal Information

Users should communicate responsibly and avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive personal information.

You should not share:

• Passwords
• OTPs
• UPI PINs
• Card PINs
• Banking credentials
• Unnecessary government identity documents
• Other confidential information

Parents and guardians should take particular care when communication involves their children.

16. Platform Content and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, content created or provided by Your Tutor Here, including our website design, branding, text, graphics, logos, and other materials, belongs to or is licensed to Your Tutor Here.

You may use the platform and its content only for its intended purpose.

You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit our content without appropriate permission.

Users are responsible for ensuring that content they upload does not infringe the rights of another person or organisation.

17. Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend, restrict, remove, or terminate an account or tutor profile where we reasonably believe that the user:

• Has violated these Terms
• Has provided false or misleading information
• Has engaged in fraud or abuse
• Has created a safety concern
• Has misused the platform
• Has violated applicable law
• Has engaged in conduct that may harm users or the platform

Where appropriate, we may also remove or restrict access to a tutor profile.

Users may stop using the platform and may request account closure in accordance with our applicable procedures.

18. Reporting Safety, Fraud, or Policy Concerns

If you believe that a user, tutor profile, message, review, or other content violates these Terms or creates a safety concern, please report it to us.

When reporting an issue, please provide relevant details that may help us review the matter.

For serious matters involving immediate danger, abuse, or suspected criminal activity, users should also contact the appropriate authorities.

19. Our Role and Limitations as a Platform

Your Tutor Here provides a platform for discovering and connecting with tutors.

We do not directly provide tutoring services and do not control the personal arrangements, meetings, communications, teaching services, or other activities carried out directly between parents or guardians and tutors.

We do not guarantee:

• The quality of tutoring provided by an individual tutor
• The suitability of a tutor for a particular child
• The accuracy of every user-provided profile detail
• The qualifications or experience claimed by a tutor unless specifically verified as part of an identified verification process
• The conduct of users outside the platform
• The outcome of any tuition arrangement

Parents and guardians are responsible for evaluating tutors, verifying important information where appropriate, deciding whether a tutor is suitable, and taking reasonable safety precautions.

Tutors are responsible for the information they provide, the services they offer, and their conduct.

Any tuition arrangement, meeting, communication, payment arrangement, or other activity between a parent or guardian and a tutor is undertaken by those parties based on their own decisions and responsibilities, subject to applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability or responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

20. Third-Party Services

Your Tutor Here may use or link to third-party services such as payment providers, hosting providers, communication services, analytics tools, or other external services.

Your use of a third-party service may also be subject to that provider’s own terms and policies.

Your Tutor Here is not responsible for the independent acts, policies, or services of third-party providers outside our reasonable control.

21. Service Availability

We aim to keep the platform available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

The website or particular features may occasionally be unavailable due to:

• Updates
• Technical issues
• Security measures

• Events outside our reasonable control

• Their violation of applicable law
• Their infringement of another person’s rights
• Information or content they provide through the platform

This section does not limit any rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.
