Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to tutors who purchase a paid subscription on Your Tutor Here.

Your Tutor Here is free for students and parents. Subscription charges apply only to tutors who choose to activate their profiles on the platform.

By purchasing a tutor subscription, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.

1. Tutor Subscription Payments

Tutors can purchase a subscription to keep their approved profiles active and visible to students and parents for the selected subscription period.

The applicable subscription duration, price, discount, and final payable amount will be displayed before payment.

Tutors are responsible for reviewing these details before completing their purchase.

2. No Refund Policy

Once a tutor subscription has been successfully purchased and activated, the amount paid is non-refundable, except where a refund is required under applicable law.

No full or partial refund will be provided if a tutor:

• Changes their mind after purchasing
• Cancels their subscription
• Deactivates their profile
• Deletes their account
• Stops using Your Tutor Here
• Stops providing tuition services
• Does not receive student inquiries
• Does not find students through the platform
• Does not use the complete subscription period

Unused subscription time cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or a partial refund.

3. Cancellation & Account Deactivation

Tutors may stop using Your Tutor Here or deactivate their profile at any time.

However, cancelling a subscription, deactivating a profile, or deleting an account does not result in a refund.

If a tutor chooses to leave the platform before their subscription expires, the amount already paid and any unused subscription period will remain non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

4. No Guarantee of Students or Leads

Purchasing a subscription allows a tutor’s approved profile to remain active and visible on Your Tutor Here for the applicable subscription period.

A subscription does not guarantee:

• Student inquiries
• Student connections or tuition requests
• Profile views
• Tuition opportunities
• Earnings or income
• Any particular number of students

Not receiving the expected number of students, inquiries, or profile views is not grounds for a refund.

5. Subscription Downgrades

Once a subscription is purchased and activated, it cannot be downgraded to a shorter subscription duration.

No refund, partial refund, or credit will be provided for the price difference.

Tutors should carefully select their preferred subscription duration before completing payment.

6. Subscription Upgrades

Tutors can upgrade an active subscription to a longer available subscription duration.

Any additional amount payable and the updated subscription period will be communicated or displayed before the upgrade is completed.

Payments already made toward the existing subscription remain non-refundable.

7. Subscription Expiry & Renewal

Tutor subscriptions do not automatically renew.

When a subscription expires, the tutor will receive a notification and can choose to renew manually.

If the tutor does not renew:

• No automatic payment will be charged
• The tutor’s profile will become hidden from public listings
• The tutor may renew later to make the profile active again

8. Coupons & Promotional Discounts

Your Tutor Here may occasionally provide coupon codes, discounts, or promotional offers.

Coupons and discounts:

• Cannot be exchanged for cash
• Cannot be refunded separately
• May have specific eligibility and validity requirements
• May be subject to maximum discount limits

The use of a coupon or promotional offer does not make a subscription refundable.

Your Tutor Here may modify, limit, or discontinue promotional offers subject to applicable law and the terms of the applicable offer.

9. Failed or Pending Transactions

If a payment fails or is not successfully confirmed, the tutor subscription may not be activated.

If an amount appears to have been deducted for a failed transaction, any applicable reversal may be processed by the bank, payment gateway, UPI provider, or other payment provider according to its own processing timelines.

Tutors may contact Your Tutor Here if payment has been deducted but their subscription has not been activated.

10. Duplicate or Incorrect Charges

The general no-refund policy applies to correctly processed tutor subscription purchases.

If a tutor is accidentally charged more than once for the same transaction, or an incorrect amount is charged because of a confirmed technical or payment-processing error, the tutor should contact us.

We will review the transaction and take appropriate action where a duplicate or incorrect charge is confirmed.

11. Account Suspension or Removal

Your Tutor Here reserves the right to suspend, hide, restrict, or remove tutor profiles or accounts that violate our Terms & Conditions or platform rules.

This may include cases involving:

• False or misleading information
• Fake qualifications
• Fraudulent activity
• Spam
• Abuse or harassment
• Inappropriate content or behaviour
• Misuse of the platform
• Other violations of our Terms & Conditions

If an account is suspended or removed because of a tutor’s violation of our Terms & Conditions, the amount already paid will generally remain non-refundable, subject to applicable law.

12. Changes to This Policy

Your Tutor Here may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our subscriptions, payment processes, platform functionality, business practices, or applicable requirements.

Where appropriate, the Last Updated date will be revised.
